MALAYSIA::Seks chat, barah sosial

Seks chatt, barah sosial

GANGGUAN seksual dalam talian boleh dicegah jika wanita lebih berani. Berani membuat tindakan dan berani mengajukan laporan kepada saluran-saluran berkenaan.

Jika dahulu hendak bergambar pun kita saling tersenyum malu malah seboleh-bolehnya menyembunyikan muka tetapi hari ini, teknologi merubah kejanggalan menjadi sesuatu keberanian.

Indonesian authorities in the Bangka Belitung province fear search and rescue efforts for missing AirAsia flight QZ8501 will be hampered by bad weather and big waves.
Indonesian news portal Kompas.com quoted National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) Bangka Belitung spokesman Jhoni Supriadi in Pangkalpinang as saying that waves were as high as two metres, delaying the SAR team from reaching the location where they believe the plane had crashed.
It was earlier reported that the missing Airbus A320 was believed to have crashed at the location 03.22.46 South and 108.50.07 East, in waters around 80 to 100 nautical miles from Belitung while flying from Surabaya to Singapore this morning.

MALAYSIA:::Need to ensure workers’ safety on the road

AS the year draws to a close, I wish to call on employers and employees to look back and review their efforts in reducing commuting accidents on the roads.
While industrial accidents are generally on the decline, the number of commuting accidents involving employees has increased 25 per cent in the past three years, from 22,036 accidents with 1,194 deaths in 2010 to 27,659 accidents with 933 deaths last year, as reported by the Social Security Organisation (Socso). For the first seven months of this year, 16,203 commuting accidents with 566 deaths were reported.
While safety risks and resulting work accidents are manageable, work-related commuting accidents are on the rise.

MALAYSIA:::Decent wages, fair deal key to keeping illegals away

LESS than four decades ago, when there were “no foreign workers around”, I had a noble job. It was mainly about holding a cangkul and sweating the whole day so that Malaysians across the country had vegetables on their plates.
As a farmhand in Cameron Highlands, I can assert that I have had a hand in nourishing my fellow countrymen, via the vitamins in the cabbages that I planted.
For a paltry salary of RM180 a month (with food and lodging provided), for six days a week, I planted cabbages, harvested and packed them into rattan baskets that were loaded onto lorries.

TELOK PANGLIMA GARANG, Dec 28 — Toiling 12 hours a day in a Malaysian electronics factory amid broken promises on wages and working conditions, Manu dreams of returning to his poor Nepal village but is restrained by invisible shackles.
His passport has been illegally confiscated by his employers at the Japanese-owned plant on Kuala Lumpur's gritty outskirts, and he is struggling to pay off recruitment fees he owes them. He faces additional fines if he leaves.
