: The government must make it mandatory for local employers to train their employees under the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), says the Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC).
“Employers must stop giving illogical and unreasonable excuses,” its secretary-general Gopal Kishnam said in a statement today.
“The country needs highly skilled Malaysian workers and to reduce its dependency on foreign workers. Employers must extend their cooperation with the HRDF.”
