MALAYSIA:::Padam SMS 'is this your photo' - SKMM


KUALA LUMPUR: Pengguna telefon bimbit dinasihatkan supaya berwaspada jika menerima khidmat pesanan ringkas (SMS) yang mengandungi pautan URL perisian PhotoViewer.apk.
Menurut Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM), SMS 'is this your photo' perlu dipadam kerana pautan yang diberi dalam SMS itu mengandungi malware.
Malware ialah perisian yang dicipta khusus untuk merosakkan sistem komputer.

Dua wakil syarikat kontraktor didenda RM85,000 oleh Mahkamah Sesyen di sini pada hari Selasa, selepas mengaku bersalah atas pertuduhan gagal memastikan keselamatan di kawasan projek.

Kegagalan memastikan keselamatan itu menyebabkan kematian orang awam dan kecederaan pekerja semasa kejadianruntuhanpenyambung Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah pada Jun tahun lepas.

Hakim Sitarun Nisa Abdul Aziz memerintahkan Chan Kah Heen, 39, yang mewakili Cergas Murni Sdn Bhd membayar denda RM50,000, manakala Raub Razali, 50, pengarah Giga Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd pula RM35,000.

Malaysia today deported nearly 500 undocumented Indonesian workers, in what analysts said was part of a push to clamp down on illegal labour as the economy starts to slow.
The workers were brought in shackles to the Subang Airport ,west of Kuala Lumpur, where Indonesian officials said they would be loaded onto military C-130 aircraft to be flown to their native country.
Another 200 will be deported tomorrow, Indonesia’s ambassador to Malaysia Herman Prayitno said, adding that more illegal workers may be sent back next year.

MALAYSIA:::EPF to sue Perwaja Steel

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has taken legal action against Perwaja Steel (Kemaman) Sdn Bhd (PSSB) for defaulting monthly EPF contributions, amounting to RM9.17 million, for the period between August 2013 and September 2014.
The action, both prosecution and civil suit, was also taken personally against company directors for the same default.

PERU:::New labor regime in Peru complies with ILO conventions


Peru's Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism Magali Silva said the new labor regime complies with all the agreements signed with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and ruled it out as a violation of young people’s rights in Peru.

"As a minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, it is my duty to ensure institutional arrangements across the country. This regulation has been implemented with all due respect to international agreements and accords inked between Peru and the ILO,” she pointed out.
